Final of “Miss Universe – 2006” contest:
Inna Tsymbalyuk has ranked among 20 most beautiful girls of the Universe.

The final of 55th anniversary “Miss Universe” contest has taken place in Los Angeles (USA), in Shrine Auditorium concert hall.
The contest was covered online by American NBC broadcasting company. 86 of the world’s most beautiful girls from different countries competed for the title.
Representative of Puerto-Rico Zuleyke Rivera Mendoza has become the one to win the competition.
Ukraine’s representative Inna Tsymbalyk, 21-year-old student, owner of “Miss Ukraine-Universe” title has ranked among top-20 and was nominated one of the most beautiful ladies in the Universe for the first time in long history of the world’s most prestigious contest.

Jun 23, 2005. Before leaving for the “Miss Universe”-2006 contest, Inna Tsymbalyuk was blessed by the Church

Before their departure to the USA, Inna Tsymbalyuk (“Miss Ukraine Universe-2006”), Aleksandra Nikolaenko (national director of the “Miss Ukraine Universe” contest) and Diana Dorozhkina (a modeler) visited Svyato-Uspenskaya Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, where they asked the Most Reverend Metropolitan Vladimir for a blessing. One of reasons behind the visit to Lavra and to the residence of the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was that Inna, being an Orthodox believer, had incorporated orthodox cultural motives in her performance.

Today is the birthday of Inna Tsymbalyuk, a holder of the “Miss Ukraine-Universe” title. She has turned 21 years old.

Inna Tsymbalyuk performed in the final concert of “Chance” musical program  

A shooting of the final concert performed by winners of the sixth season of “Chance” TV-project took place at the Palace of culture of Kyiv Polytechnical Institute. Inna Tsymbalyuk, who had become the winner of a “Karaoke” TV-program (it was shot in the Reunion island concurrently with “Patriot games” shootings), became a participant of the “Chance” program. Since she did not collect the thousand ballots required to win, she became a joker of the final show. Together with the Freedom ballet she brilliantly performed a Jennifer Lopez hit “Ain’t it Sunny” and sang a duet with famous Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovskiy. However, Inna refused to continue competing for the winner’s title in favor of other participants. For her the most important thing is to prepare for taking part in the “Miss Universe” contest.

The girls have seen a number of movie premieres and visited a few parties. They were invited as VIP-guests to a traditional evening held by Shoppard jewelry company at the famous Carlton hotel. The evening was also attended by Penelopa Cruz, Elton John, Elizabeth Herley, Eva Gerzigova, Marilyn Manson with his wife Dita von Tizen, Petra Nemkova and others.

Aleksandra Nikolaenko, the best beauty of Ukraine, who was an adequate representative of our contry and the winner of a number of most prestigious beauty contests, was named „Person of the year” and given a „Prometeus Prestige” award for reinforcing Ukraine’s positive image around the world.

In order to enable choosing the holder of „Miss Ukraine-Universe” 2006 title without any bias, and by analogy with the selecting system of „Miss Universe” contest, Aleksandra Nikolaenko invited stars who had never met the finalists and knew nothing of their lives and achievements. Famous Russian actors Irina Alferova, Emmanuil Vitorgan, Aleksandr Nosik and Oksana Fedorov, the holder of titles „Miss Universe-2002” and „Miss Russia-2002” flew to Kyiv especially for the purpose.

Charitable visit to a boarding-school

The finalists of „Go Miss Universe” project together with Aleksandra Nikolaenko, Vitalina Yushchenko and Marina Krysa (The friends of children foundation) visited boarding-school No. 15 and talked to the pupils. It was another stage of „Go Miss Universe” project. The finalists had an opportunity to demonstrate their human characteristics and convince the jury that they are able to communicate with children.

Finalists of „Go Miss Universe” project conquered Paris!

A trip to Paris was the next text for the four left project participants.
„We wanted to see how the girls will comport themselves in the high society, what manners they have and whether they are able to show poise in public. For one of them willl have to represent our country on the international level in the capacity of a Miss Universe participant”, - Aleksandra Nikolaenko said.

Finalists of „Go Miss Universe” TV-project occupied a country-house

The five participants of „Go Miss Universe” TV-project were taken to a rented house, where they were supposed to prepare for taking part in the international contest „Miss Universe-2006” during one week. Leading specialists – modellers, designers, cosmetologists, stylists, psychologists, fitness-trainers – began to attend to the participants.

Semi-final of „Go Miss Universe” project was held at „Alfa-center

The organizers conceived the semi-final show to be as close to the structure of Miss Universe contest as possible: the defile, entrance in evening dresses and interview taken by the presenters. The jury proceeded to select five finalists.

First national casting for „Go Miss Universe” and „Miss Ukraine-Universe” contest took place

From now on, Ukranian girls have an opportunity to compete for the longed-for Miss Ukraine-Universe crown and title. For a few months applications from single girls aged between 18 and 27 claiming the Miss Universe title were entered to Inter TV-channel website. Total number of sent applications exceeded three thousand.

First Miss Universe visit to Ukraine

For the first time since the Miss Universe beauty contest was launched, Ukraine was privileged to host its winner. Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe-2005 visited our country, invited by Aleksandra Nikolaenko. The visit of the honorable guest marked the start of Aleksandra’s activity in the capacity a licensee entitled to hold Miss Universe-2006 elimination contrast in Ukraine and Miss Ukraine-Universe contest.
