Viktoria Apanasenko was born and raised in Chernihiv.
She graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University with a degree in Social Work, and also studied at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. Viktoria chose this profession because she always had a desire to contribute to the solution of social issues existing in society and to have the opportunity to help vulnerable segments of the population.
Victoria is a professional model and actively supports Ukrainian brands. She started her pageant career in 2014 when she became the winner of the Miss Chernihiv 2014 contest. In 2021, she placed 2nd Runner-Up in the Miss Ukraine Universe competition.
In 2022, due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Miss Ukraine Universe contest was canceled and the honorary title of Miss Ukraine Universe was transferred to Viktoriia Apanasenko.
Victoria is actively involved in volunteering. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, she helped to prepare food for the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the victims of the war. Together with her friend, she provided food, medicine, and hygiene products to children, the elderly, and internally displaced persons in Ukraine.
